Base Salary: Draw against commission - eQuip has an opening for an Outside Territory Sales Rep. At eQuip youll learn about Bulldozers, Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Dump Trucks and a myriad of other types of Heavy Equipment that are used to build our country. Your average work day will be spent out in the field working to develop your territory by meeting with equipment owners and business owners that use heavy equipment. One day you may be assisting one of your clients in selling several construction related units and the next you may be looking at a dump truck. Every day is different which gives you the ability to continuously learn. Some of your clients may even let you run a unit to learn how it operates which has always been an added plus our sales reps enjoy. You do not need a heavy equipment background to be successful at eQuip, you just need to be coachable, teachable and have a natural curiosity to learn and the ability to develop a territory. If you have those attributes, well work well together. Our Territory Sales Reps Have the Following Responsibilities: Develop and maintain good relationships with our buyers and sellers. Respond to incoming leads with a diverse client base to sell your sellers equipment or cross sell company inventory to generate sales. Identify and solicit equipment to sell by end equipment owners. Negotiate with sellers to establish competitive pricing that will stimulate sales and increase your commissions. Negotiate with buyers to maximize profit margins which increase your commissions. Ability to sell. Willingness to follow our sales system to maximize all leads to increase sales conversions. Have excellent phone and email communication skills. Ability to present our programs in a natural presentation vs. a canned script for all people communicate differently and the best presentation is a great conversation. Must be persistent, energetic, and entrepreneurial. Good grasp of computer skills and the internet. Ability and willingness to actively work your territory as if it were your own million-dollar business. We are actively looking to fill this position and will begin telephone interviews for the initial candidates over the next 5 to 10 days. This is a commission based position that also has an additional sale to our market segment that allows you create residual monthly income that is in addition to all of your equipment sales.
