This As with all our products far exceeds industry standards as well as stringent National Institute of Justice level 3 testing. Lets face it no one wants to stand behind a shield and be shot at, however if you must seems to me as you want a strong reliable shield that can take a barge of rounds and still remain ridged and safe to stand behind, not one designed with cost or weight in mind, made just strong enough to pass the minimal standard test.(if weight is a factor in you choice for a shield you may want to rethink being in a combat situation) V.B.C is a devoted to making the best products period.
