Do you want to become a Team Driver for Averitt, but don't fully meet our experience requirements? No problem!
By participating in our paid Dedicated Refresher/Supplemental Training Program, you'll work with an Averitt driver-trainer to gain the experience and skills you need to become a full-time Averitt team driver. That's all it takes to get on the road to a rewarding dedicated driving career!
Once you complete training, you would then be able to team up with your partner.
Drivers for this account can be domiciled at the following location listed below and will travel to the customer's site in Baldwyn, MS to pick up freight for delivery.
Drivers for this account must live within a 150 mile radius from the Averitt Service Center.

Supplemental Training Program: Short on experience? Only have 4 to11 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years? This program will provide you a minimum of 3 weeks of paid training at $600 per week while in training.
Refresher Training Program: Been out of the driver's seat for a while? Only have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience and it was 5 years ago? This program will provide a minimum of 1 week of paid training at $600 per week while in training.

After successful completion of the Refresher/Supplemental Training Course, you'll be ready to help serve our dedicated textiles customer located in Baldwyn, Mississippi.
This exceptional career opportunity entails:
- Leaving the customer's site in Baldwyn, MS preloaded with boxes of fabric & sewing supplies.
- Approximately eight delivery stops to the customer's retail stores along your route.
- Unloading is required , average box weight is 35 pounds. Lightweight, sturdy hand trucks and ramps are supplied.
- Depending on the route, most teams will enjoy Friday & Saturday home time (West Coast deliveries require weekend drive time and long-stem miles would require Sunday departure).
- During your home time, your tractor will be parked at the Averitt service center you're domiciled out of.
- Starting pay is 44 cpm split - HUB MILES! (top-out of .48 cpm split reached within 1 year)
- Team drivers on this account average $2,000+ split weekly pay!
- Average of 4,500-5,000 miles per week
- You'll also earn $30.00 per stop split ($15.00 each), and detention, layover, and breakdown pay are offered when applicable.
